Audrey M. Stambaugh, 81, Rockford, died at 3:30AM, Sunday, March 18, 2007 in Medina Manor Nursing Home, Durand. Born April 22, 1925 in Mendota, daughter of Amsay and Neva Worsley Foote. Graduate of LaSalle County High School. Rockford resident for the past 54 years.nbsp; Married William C. Stambaugh in Amboy on April 26, 1943.nbsp; Formerly employed at Donutland on Auburn Street and retired from a malt shop also on Auburn Street as manager.nbsp; Audrey had great sense of humor and was a wonderful cook, her fried chicken being a special favorite.nbsp; She was a passionate bingo player and loved to travel.nbsp; She loved her family and especially enjoyed her great-grandchildren.nbsp; Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Kathy, Ruth and Amy as well as the rest nbsp;of the staff at Medina Manor and Hospice Care of America. Survivors include her children, Ralph (Lesley) Stambaugh, Machesney Park, Geraldine (Jim) Friis, Elna Ann (Bobby Joe) Johnson all of Rockford, Lillian (Rick) Quam, Rockton, Leroy (Pam) Stambaugh, Amboy and Roger (Chris) Stambaugh, Rock City; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Alva Dispain and brother, Dean Foote both of Triumph as well as numerous nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by her husband, William, on November 1, 2001, her sister, Lois Larkin and brothers, Dale and Andy Foote. Funeral service at 2P.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with her grandson, Rev.
