Audrey E. Beggs

Audrey E. Beggs, 86, of Rockford passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Rosewood Nursing Home in St. Charles. Born April 24, 1928 in Amboy, Illinois, the daughter of Howard and Ruby (Smith) Miller. Audrey married Earl V. Beggs on September 5, 1947 in Dixon, Illinois. She and Earl loved to dance. Audrey was a great cook and loved to sew.
Survived by her daughter, Janet (Robert) McLaughlin of North Aurora; son, Barry (Glenda) Beggs of Beloit, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Matthew (Cherie) Binzen of Geneva, Michelle (Matt Hunt) Jongewaard of Dixon and Danielle (Dan) Zimmerman of Monroe, Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Tyler Binzen, Connor Binzen, Ellie Binzen, Brandon Jongewaard, Raegan Jongewaard and Avery Zimmerman. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Earl, on February 16, 2007 and brother, Milton D. Miller.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 South Mulford Road, Rockford. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
