Audrey A. Walton

Audrey A. Walton, 68, Rockford, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born August 14, 1943, the daughter of Audrey Burns and Amelia (Hansen) Cushing. Audrey worked in customer service and sales at North Health Care for 25 years and most recently at Mens Warehouse for 15 years. She was a past member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Audrey enjoyed traveling and photography. The love of her life was spending time with her family and friends.Survived by her daughter, Terri Walton and her partner, Kim Taylor of Antioch, her daughter, Stacie Walton of Rockford and her son, Bradley Walton of Madison, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Samuel and Caleb Rude, Zach and Mia Walton; brothers, Delmer Cushing of Seattle, Washington and Roger (Tim) Cushing of Rockford; nieces and nephews; special friend, Travis Bloom. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Bob and his wife, Norma; brother, Vernon and his wife, Marge; sisterinlaw, Mary Cushing.Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, June 15, 2012, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. with Reverend Dean Parker officiating. Private burial in Burritt Cemetery. Visitation from 11:00 am until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
