Arthur ""Bill"" W. Moss 85 Rockford Arthur ""Bill"" W. Moss, 85 of Rockford died Thursday, June 26, 2008. Bill was born Oct. 30, 1922 in Lawrence, Massachusetts the Son of Arthur and Beatrice (Chaff) Moss. He came here from Lake Summerset in 2000. Bill married Margaret E. LaPlante on June 6, 1945. Bill worked for the Civil Service Coast Guard Yard in Maryland for 22 years. He was a Senior Chief Hospital Man of the US Navy for 22 years. He retired in 1983. Bill served in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Survivors include his two sons A. William ""Bill"" (Faye) Moss of Naples, FL, Robert James ""Bob"" (Sandy) Moss of Quincy, IL; his four grandchildren, Jason Moss, Karen Moss, Daxton, ""Dax"" Moss, Tabatha ""Tabby"" ( Brett) Andrews; six great-grandchildren; his brother Russell (JoeAnne) Moss, his sister Beatrice Divoll and dear friend and constant companion ""Benji"" . Predeceased by his parents, his wife Margaret and his sister Marion Vaskelionis. Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to Wesley Willows, 4141 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103. To
