Arthur E. Stenholm

ARTHUR E. STENHOLM, 90, Rockford, died at 12:01 A.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born February 26, 1917 in Muskegon, MI, son of Elmer and Signe Nelson Stenholm. Married Bernadette Hoare in Chicago on April 6, 1942. He was a Commercial Artist, being employed by Amoco Corp. for 15 years. WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. Member of St. Marys Of The Woods Catholic Church, Lakewood Club, MI. Arthur lived for his family and they were always the most important thing in his life. Survivors include his daughters, Leona Stenholm, The Villages, FL. and Sally (Louis) Spencer, Rockford; grandchildren, Gregory (Arthurs Godfather), Philip, Michael, Timothy and Daniel Spencer and his great-granddaughter, Lillianna Charlotte. Predeceased by his wife on September 6, 2003, his parents and an infant brother. Funeral mass at 11:30 A.M. Monday, December 10, 2007 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation from 2-4 P.M. Sunday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:30 P.M. Burial at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday in St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
