Arthur Boyle

Arthur Francis Boyle, 85, Rockford.nbsp; The Lord retrieved the soul of his honorable servant, Arthur Francis Boyle, on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, following a short illness. Art was born on December 22, 1926, in Darlington, WI, the son of Francis and Mildred (White) Boyle.nbsp; He served in the Pacific Theatre from 19441946, finishing his tour of duty as a United Sates Marine with the occupation of Nagasaki.nbsp; He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Art was a skilled tool and die maker employed by Header Tool and Die of Rockford.nbsp; Art was a avid bowler and bowled a 300 game in his seventies.

Survived by his special friend, Lenora Ciaccio; grandsons, Timothy A. (Monica) Smith and Martin D. (Terry) Smith; grandchildren, Angel Smith, Maris Vay Smith, Aili Marie Smith, Theresa Thomure, Christopher Thomure, and Daniel Smith; several great grandchildren,nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, father, brother, sister, wife and daughter.

Funeral Mass will at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 14, 2012, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave.nbsp; Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2012, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. and from 9:00am until 9:45 am on Saturday, in the Church Parish Hall.nbsp; Interment at a later date in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Darlington, WI.
