Arlene Scott

Arlene F. Scott, 82, Rockford Arlene Frances Scott, born in Beloit, Wis., August 7, 1930, to Martha nee Zegermacher and George Clifford Smith, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on September 24, 2012. She married Joseph William Scott on June 27, 1951, and they raised their five children in the Pecatonica and Durand areas. Arlene enjoyed homemaking and will always be remembered for her flair in decorating, her wonderful meals, her devoted love for all of her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren, and her special ?huggiebugs. nbsp;She is survived by daughters, Christy Voegeli, Patty (Doran) Swinson, Janet Fletcher (Bruce) Rheaume, and Jill (Robert) Bocker; daughterinlaw, Sandy Scott; sisters, Pat Moffitt and Maureen (Boots) Moldenhauer; grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, son, Michael Scott, grandson, Joe Scott, parents, and several siblings. Memorial service and celebration of life will be held October 1, 10:00 a.m., at her home church, Riverside Assembly of God, 4242 W. Riverside Blvd, with Pastor James Moore officiating.
