Antoinette "Toni" Baran

Antoinette “Toni” Baran, 94, Rockford, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Baran. Loving mother of Mary (Jose) Alvarado, Joseph Baran and William (Kristy) Baran; cherished grandmother of Alejandro Alvarado, Derek (Rhi) Letsinger and Daniel (Lauren) Letsinger; sister of Victor Trentadue. She was a stay-at-home mom and volunteer at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center for many years until becoming a medical records coder. She and Joe spent many months each year in Fountain Hills, AZ. She enjoyed bowling, water aerobics, traveling and cooking. Special thanks to the staff at Lincolnshire Place and to Sanctuary Hospice and Transitions Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for Toni.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. Rockford. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
