Anthony ""Tony"" John Pro Anthony ""Tony"" John Pro, 83, formerly of Rockford, died on Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Pembroke Pines, Fla. After a short illness. Tony was born in Rockford on May 15, 1924. He served in the US Army from 1943 to 1945. Tony enjoyed a long and happy career as a caddy and coach for professional and semi- professional golfers in Florida where he lived most of his life. He caddied until the age of 79 and then volunteered at an Aquatics Center of people with disabilities. Tony is survived by his sisters Gina Gulotta, Edna (Donald) Williams, Valia ""Mickey"" (Lyle) Bleile, Dalia (Frank) Giordano. Brother Angelo Pro. Cousins, many nieces and nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends. Preceded in death by parents John and Antonia (Bargetti) Pro. Sisters Helen Buscemi and Rita Liberatori. Brothers Aldo, Emil and Robert Pro. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Anthony of Padua Church, July 27 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Thursday, July 26 from 5-8 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Visitation will continue at church Friday from 9 am until time of Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. To
