Annette "Net" Buck

Annette "Net" Buck 87 of Cherry Valley passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born January 5, 1927 in Rockford the daughter of Harold and Irene Anderson. She graduated from East High School class of 44. She married Harry W. Buck Sr. in Cherry Valley on November 2, 1946. She worked for Rockford Mitten and Hosiery, Rockford Sports Center, Third National Bank and Fisher's Appliance. Member of Cherry Valley United Methodist Church. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and ceramics.
Survivors include her Husband Harry. Her three children, Barb (Brad) Lofgren, Harry (Debbie) Buck Jr., and DeeDee (Jim) Rumple. Grandchildren, Carrie (Jeff) Mizner, Nolan (Jennifer) Lofgren, Michael (Becky) Buck, Lindsey (Ryan) Pell, Jamie (Mike) Ingrao, Brittany (James) Schade, Jason (Jenny) Rumple, and Danie (Giovanni) Giacomazzo. Great grandchildren, Kelsey, Alyssa, Mylee, Nolan Jr., Maddox, Mya, Emma, Ty, Wil, Chandler, Haley, Alyssa, Abriana and Julliana. Siblings, Richard (Beverly) Anderson, Barbara (Jim) Ohlsen, David (Barb) Anderson and Sally Baeverstad. Predeceased by her mother and father. The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Michalsen and his staff and also Tricia and Nelly from the CCU at OSF for their compassionate care.
Memorial service at 11am Tuesday September 16, 2014 in Cherry Valley United Methodist Church with Pastor Monty Fox officiating. Visitation from 9am until 10:45 Tuesday in the church.
