Annemarie (Folden) Geraghty

Annemarie “Ann” (Folden) Geraghty 95 of Rockford passed away Monday October 10, 2016 in Franklin Grove Nursing Home. She was born January 30, 1921 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of Cecil Charles and Lulu Ardella (Gordon) Folden. She graduated from Clinton High School in Indiana. She married Walter Robert “Bob”” Geraghty on October 28, 1955, he predeceased her on March 16, 1996. Former member of Cathedral of St Peter, St. Bernadette Church and St Bridget Church. Ann enjoyed card playing, traveling, lunches with friends and was a true animal lover. She volunteered for Rosecrance, Rockvale Children’s Home and for her church.
Survivors include her Daughter Cindy (Wayne) Winterfield of Dixon, Grandchildren, Nathan Turowsky of Broomfield, Colorado and Jennifer Winterfield-Easter of Florence, Arizona, four great-grandchildren, Sister-in –law Phyllis Geraghty and hundreds of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Husband Bob, Daughter Jeanmarie, twin brothers Maynard and Waynard, sisters, Norma Hallberg and Lucille Stewart-Peltier, Brothers-in-law Joe (Rosemary) Geraghty, and Jerry Geraghty.
