Anna T. Smith

Anna T. Smith of Rockford died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013. Born October 8, 1919 in West Allis, WI the daughter of Catherine and Walter Orlikowski. Married her loving husband, Jess. E. Smith on June 8, 1940 in Rockford at St. Edwards. A member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was attending St. Bridget Catholic Church with her family. Survivors include her children, James (Cary) Smith, Patricia (James) Allen, Jesse (Char) Smith and Frederick (Lou) Smith; grandchildren, Natalie, Bryan, Bradley, Theresa, Brent, Kellie, Shawn and Paul and several great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1988, 5 sisters, 3 brothers and special friend, Helen Rosella.
Funeral Mass Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park, IL. Interment will be held in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29 from 1-3 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with a Rosary Service to be recited at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
