Ann. S. Wadlington

Ann Wadlington (Scharbau), daughter of Kurt and Dorothea Scharbau, passed away on Monday, December 12 at the age of 91. She was born and grew up in Rockford, IL. She attended high school at Havergal College in Toronto, Canada. She then graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and was proud to be a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After college she married Robert Wadlington. After some time in Biloxi, MS, they eventually moved back to Rockford. She was a longtime Member of the Rockford Country Club. She was also involved in the Junior League where she served as the President.

She is survived by her three sons Kurt, David and John; her grandchildren Linsay Miller (Wadlington), Keith Wadlington, Craig Wadlington, Lauren Wadlington, Devan Wadlington and Brent Wadlington; and her Great Grandchildren Kaylee Miller and Kru Wadlington. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, and sister Mary Lu (Mimi) Augspurger.

There will be a family service held early next year in Tucson, AZ, where she will be buried next to her Husband and our Father, Robert Wadlington.
