Anita M Woerner

Anita M. Woerner 82 of Rockford passed away Thursday April 2, 2015 in her home. She was born May 30, 1932 in Germany, the daughter of Klaus and Marie Wollny. She went to school in Germany, becoming a Medical Technologist. She married Hans Woerner in 1957. Anita worked at Uof I College of Medicine for many years and also Rockford Memorial Hospital. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Ladies of the Moose, Belvidere Chapter.

Survivors include her Sister, Ruth Slaght and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Hans.

Funeral Mass at 11am Tuesday April 14, 2015 in Holy Family Catholic Church 4401 Highcrest Road. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 10am until service time Tuesday in the church.
