Anita M. Lynch

Anita M. Lynch, 84, Machesney Park, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born to Raymond Kling on March 31, 1931, and raised by her father and her grandparents, Walter and Betty Titus. She married Roger Lynch in Rockford on July 19, 1952. He passed away in Rockford on October 30, 1994. Anita worked at Scandia Lumber Company and later at the Winnebago County Farm Bureau. She and her husband then owned and operated Roger’s Body Shop until their retirement. She was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Anita was a graduate of Rockford West High School class of 1949. She enjoyed attending sporting events for Boylan Catholic High School, spending time along the Rock River at Martin Park, and loved animals.
Survived by her daughters Connie Schumacher of Rockford and Debra Lynch of Machesney Park; her grandchildren, Carissa Williams of Belvidere and Mitch Schumacher of Rockford; her great-grandchildren, Emerson and Mason Williams; her cousin, Gladys Carlson; and her special cat, Dusty. Predeceased by her husband, Roger and her grandson, Dan Schumacher; her father and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av., Rockford, 61103, with Reverend Dean Parker officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
