Anita Bouril, 78, of Rockford passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008. Born December 7, 1929, in Rockford, the daughter of Carmelo and Josephine (Castrogiovanni) Buscemi. Anita married Joseph Nelson on February 20, 1954. He predeceased her on April 20, 1986. On November 18, 1995, she married John Bouril in Rockford. Anita was employed by Barber Colman for 32 years before she retired in 1990. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Anita volunteered at St. Anne Center and St. Elizabeth Food Pantry. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary and the Honor Guard for the Pilgrim Virgin Statue. She is survived by her husband, John, children Jacqueline (Jerry) Rudolph, Janine (Robert) Schneider, Joseph (Janice) Bouril, Jeffrey (Betsey) Bouril and 16 grandchildren and 3 gereat-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Sam Buscemi and sisters Rose Buscemi and Jennie Chiarelli. Funeral Mass will be in St. Rita Catholic Church, August 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald P. Kobbeman officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., and from 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday in the church. Interment to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Poor Clares Corpus Christi Monastery, 2111 S. Main St., Rockford, IL 61102; St. Elizabeth Food Pantry, 1505 S.
