Angelo Robert Falzone

Angelo Robert "Bob" Falzone, 83, Machesney Park, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born May 12, 1927, in Rockford, the son of Alfred and Josephine (Leoni) Falzone. Bob married Nancy Keller in Wisconsin on March 22, 1952. She passed away in 2004. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII serving in France. Bob worked for Sundstrand Corporation for many years. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church where he was an usher for many years. He was also a member of the Baltic Lodge and enjoyed bowling.Survived by his children, Michael Falzone of Loves Park, Cynthia Falzone of Machesney Park, and David (Karen) Falzone of Rockford; grandchildren, Missy (Bob) Lang, Rob, Erin, John, Chris (Michelle), Dan (Jen), and Paul Falzone; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose (Ron) Graw and Claudia (Jerry) Taylor; daughter, Rebecca Falzone-McCluski. Predeceased by his wife, Nancy; sons, Steve and Ronald; granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Falzone.Funeral services will be at 10:30am, Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural St., Rockford, IL 61107, with Reverend Norwood "Woody" Knutson officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation from 9:30am until 10:15am on Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
