Alyssa Anne Lorenzen, 20, heartbreakingly passed away on August 13, 2021. She was born in Rockford, Illinois on January 23, 2001 daughter to Christopher Lorenzen and Katrina Kilcheski. Alyssa was extremely active with her life. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 2019, attended some college, worked as a pharmaceutical technician and was an entrepreneur selling things like candles, soaps, key chains, skin care and clothing promotion. She had talked about wanting to pursue a career as a surgical technician. Alyssa had an artistic eye, she loved photography, and worked a lot with oil pastels and acrylic paint. She was very family based, spending countless hours with her sister Aubrey doing anything from, board games, cooking, going to Great America or even settling in to watch a movie. Alyssa and Aubrey also danced, Alyssa spending numerous years at the Mary Lee’s School of Dance and Steps to Grace Dance Studio. The most important thing in Alyssa’s life though, was to be the best mother she could be. She always had a love for children and was ecstatic to spoil and love her own child. Recently Alyssa found a love for traveling, spending time in Los Angeles, Vegas, and Hawaii.
