Alexis Sophia Olmstead, 6 weeks, old died at 6:18 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born January 22, 2008 in Rockford, daughter of Nicholas E. and Julie A. Bloomster Olmstead. Survivors include her parents; sister, Mattison and brother,Caden; maternal grandparents, Charles ""Buzz"" and Inis Bloomster; paternal grandparents, Merle and Tanya Olmstead; aunts and uncles, Holley (Greg) Phillips and Michail (Dezaray) Olmstead. Also survived by her cousins, Karley Phillips, Nathan LaMay, Sidney Phillips and Austin Olmstead; maternal great-grandparents, C.L. and Irene Thompson and paternal great-grandmother, Olga Pawlow. Predeceased by her paternal great-grandfather and maternal great-grandparents. Alexis, you were just those few weeks my little one and you darted in and out of our lives too quickly. But it seems thats all the time you needed to make our lives so much richer and give us a small glimpse of eternity. Memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Mark Weber, Senior Minister of Central Christian Church officiating. Visitation from 1:30 p.m. until time of the service.
