Alexandra C. Peer-Drake

Alexandra “Lexi” Celeste Peer-Drake, age 28, passed unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday, July 27th, 2023. Lexi spent much of her life in Milwaukee, WI where she graduated with honors from Rufus King High School, and recently settled down back in her hometown of Rockford, IL.

Though often quiet and shy, Lexi drew people in with her goofiness and glowing smile. She was a brilliant, strong-willed young woman who dreamt big, loved fiercely, filled her life with music, and believed family is more important than anything. After winning a long battle with addiction, Lexi’s main goal was to create a happy, stable, and loving home for herself and her two sons Cain Idris Aljamrah (10) & Leonardo Mateo Peer-Drake (2).

In addition to her sons Lexi is survived by her parents Olianna Peer-Drake (mother), Gabriel Peer-Drake Sr. (father), & Jessica Peer-Drake (stepmother); sisters Anastasia “Basia” Peer-Drake, Jo Key & Kaylee Bayer; brothers Gabriel Peer-Drake Jr., & Ethan Peer-Drake; grandmothers Olaug Stormark & Rita Drake; grandfather Clenny White; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 5th, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Lexi’s family would like to thank everyone for their support and encourage the sharing of memories and condolences online.
