Albert R. Labunski, 97 of Rockford died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Wesley Willows Nursing Home. Albert was born April 10, 1918 in Rockford, Illinois to William and Katherine (Urbas) Labunski. Served in the US Navy and Married Lillian (Sautel) on November 7, 1943. Albert worked in many capacities at Ingersoll Cutter and Milling departments for 44 years. Albert enjoyed many hobbies, some for many years which include; Rockford Men’s Garden Club, Ethnic Heritage Museum, Knights of Columbus and a Boy Scout of America Leader.
Survived by; Sons, Gerry, Tim (Connie) and Pat (Kelly) Labunski; Daughter-in-law, Dee; Grandchildren, Nathan, Cathryn, Kayla, Trina, Tracy, Nicole, Spencer, Carrie, Cameron and Andrea. Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Wife, Lillian and Son Rick Labunski.
Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 2300 Bell Avenue, Rockford, Illinois 61103. Entombment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday morning in St. Bernadette’s Community Center 2330 Bell Ave.
