Albert D. Rebecca

Albert D. Rebecca, 63, of Rockford, IL passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020.

Albert was born May 13, 1957 in Rockford, son of Jerry Rebecca and Jean Ann Saur. Judy Rebecca has been his very special mom for 50 years. Albert was a resident of Milestone for many years. He also lived at Mabley Center in Dixon and the former Singer Mental Health Center. Albert was an old soul; he liked to wear his button-down shirts with a tie and cardigan. He loved McDonald cheeseburgers and Steak ‘n Shake. Albert participated in Special Olympics for many years.

Albert is survived by his mother, Judy Rebecca; siblings, Michael Rebecca, Nicholas Rebecca, Jim Rebecca, David (Lisa) Johnson, Michael Jacobs, Theresa Russo and Diane Navickis; niece, Jennifer Russo; nephews, Noah Russo, Nathan Russo, Alec Navickis, Austin Navickis, and eleven great-nieces and great-nephews. We want thank all staff and administration at Milestone for their special care and dedication to Albert and all the residents. You have been his “family” all these years. We also want to thank Northern Illinois Hospice team members who cared for him. Albert is predeceased by his father, mother and grandparents.

Due to current circumstances of COVID-19, private family services will be held. Final resting place will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Rockford.
