Alan M. Kalaczinski

Alan M Kalaczinski, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 7, 2023 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Martha (Blaszynski) Kalaczinski.

Alan worked as an engineer for most of his career. He had a great knack for solving problems. He enjoyed life by spending time with his family, especially his four grandsons, cheering on his favorite sports teams, Go Bears, watching his favorite movies and tv shows, enjoying his wife’s cooking, singing in the church choir and being a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Alan was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife Diane (Augustine) Kalaczinski, a sister, Karen (John) Sibley, his children; Lisa (Kurt) Pilcher, David (Lillian) Kalaczinski, Susan Tierney and his grandchildren; Roman and Dean Kalaczinski, Michael and Steven Tierney.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery In Niles, IL.
