Agatha C. Sandy Scheidt, 87

Agatha C. Sandy Scheidt, 87, of Rockford passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
Born December 15, 1924 in Menominee Township, Illinois to Bernard and Mary Sophia (Greenwald) Bonnet.
She married Robert G. Bob Scheidt on May 9, 1953 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Freeport, Illinois; who predeceased her on February 12, 2010.
Sandy was a very active member at Holy Family Catholic Church and was a member of the Womens Guild.
She enjoyed baking cookies and gardening.
She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.


Lovingly survived by her children, Tom (Eileen) Scheidt of Lombard, IL, Jim (Chery) Scheidt of Cherry Valley, IL, Chris (Tom) Loss of Eau Claire, WI and Mary Sue (Jim) Moen of Oak Park, IL; grandchildren, Dan, Jill and Jenna Scheidt, Matt and Abby Loss, Michael, Lindsey, Amanda and Evan Moen; sisters, Evelyn Orzechowski, Helen Toelle and Patricia (Gail) Proctor; brothers, Bill Bonnet and Bob (Dorothy) Bonnet; numerous nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Mary Sophia and brother, Arnold Bonnet.

Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church 4401 Highcrest Road with Father Edward Seisser officiating. Entombment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday September 19, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation will continue from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the family for an establishment to be named at a later date.
