Sandra L. Scott

Sandra L. Scott, 71, of Machesney Park passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 with her family by her side. Born December 31, 1947, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Gladys (Dougherty) Baker. Sandra was a graduate of Auburn High School. She worked for Landstar and Gallagher. Sandra enjoyed fashion and will be affectionately remembered by some as “Fancy Sandy.” She was determined, giving and always up for an adventure. Sandra enjoyed entertaining family and friends, especially during the holidays. Family was important to Sandra and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her sons, John (Robin) Wood and Chris Scott; grandchildren, Heather (Jon) Sivrais, Amanda Lee, Dustin Wood, Ryan Scott and Jaden Wood; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Deb (Bill) Bradley, Tami (Andy) Rodriguez, Penny (Vernon) Wilder and Todd Baker; sister-in-law, Barb Baker; god daughter, Chelsea Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son, Joseph Scott, parents, William and Gladys, brother, Steve Baker and nephew, Scott Baker.
