Graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1952. Married Marilyn M. Weller in Rockford on October 25, 1957; she died March 25, 1985.nbsp; Employed for over 28 years by United Realty.nbsp; He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survivors include his children, Kimberly (Wayne) Todd, Glendale, AZ, Scott Egler, San Francisco, CA, William Egler and Beth Egler (Paul) both of Rockford and 1 grandchild.
Visitation from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. followed by a graveside committal service at 12:30 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery.nbsp; Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.nbsp; Express condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
