Michael Fischer

Michael Anthony Fish Fischer of Winnebago died suddenly on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
Michael was born May 2, 1990 in Rockford.
He was the son of John and April Fischer.
Michael attended Winnebago Schools and graduated from Winnebago High School, class of 2008.
Fish was involved in high school football and wrestling and went down state for wrestling in 2008. He was employed by NPL Construction
in Chicago and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 597.
He also played the trumpet for the Winnebago High School band. Michael was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and always enjoyed a Chicago Cub game.
He loved fourwheeling and fishing, and his friends and his family.

Michael is survived by his parents, John and April; his sister, Caitlin; maternal grandmother, Sondra (Sue) Peterson of Rockford; aunts, Lynn (Dave Mertz) Peterson of Rockford, Chawn (John) Scanlan of Stillman Valley and Lori (Mike) Cotner of Rockford; special uncle, Robert Fischer (Tammy Falzone)nbsp;of Rockford; cousins, Jeffrey Scanlan, Megan Scanlan and David Cotner; girlfriend, Aubrey Capriola of Winnebago; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. Fish will also be missed by many of his close friends and families in Winnebago. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert Peterson and his paternal grandparents, John and Martha Fischer.

Visitation will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday March 22, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 South Mulford Road with the funeral service immediately following at 7:00 pm with the Rev. Randy Young officiating. Memorials to the family to be determined at a later date.<
