Mary Catherine Anderson

Mary Catherine Anderson, 69, Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Lincolnshire Place. She was born on July 27, 1954, in Butte, MT., the daughter of Ted and Catherine (Shea) Bury. She married Rodger Anderson in Butte in 1973. After moving to Rockford, she worked at several jobs including PNC Bank, Brinks US and finally in the office of Old Time Pottery. Mary was a member of the Cathedral of St. Peter where she volunteered while her children attended school there. She later was active at Boylan Catholic High School while her children attended there.

Survived by her loving husband, Rodger; her son, Rodger (Maria) Anderson of Loves Park; her grandchildren, Isabella and Sean Anderson; her brothers, Ted and Mick Bury; special friends, Michael and Joyce Jacobi. Predeceased by her parents and her son T.J. Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Stockholm Inn. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family. Share online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
