John "Jd" Williams

John D. “JD” Williams, 58, of Rockford, passed away on February 20, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1964, in Chicago, the son of Donald and Sharon (Nichols) Williams. He worked as a carpenter for the 792 union. He owned JD Designs. JD was always willing to help people and volunteered for veterans through the union. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his long-term partner, Amy Nichols; children, Noah, Christian, and Jaydon; bonus son, Alexander “Zander”; special sister-in-law, Marietta Lehrmann; brothers, Donald “Donny”, Kurt, and Billy; special nieces, Holly, Bethany Lehrmann, and Missy “Mimi” Lehrmann; special nephews, Mason Lehrmann and Bentley Lehrmann; several other nieces and nephews; and special neighbor, Sharon Kitsemble. He is predeceased by his parents and son, Jonathon.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue Rockford, Illinois 61103. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Please share memories and condolences online.
