Jennifer Ackerman

Jennifer Ackerman, 48, died Thursday Feb 9, 2023 following a 20 year battle with cancer. She was born in Vung-Tau Vietnam on Nov 21, 1974, and came to the USA in April 1975 as part of Operation Babylift. She is the daughter of Marsha and Larry Ackerman.

Jennie loved to cook and showed her love for her family through her cooking. She started watching cooking shows as a child with her grandma. Jennie was her children’s biggest fan. She loved them to the moon and back. She always attended Jake’s football and Paige’s volleyball games. She was an avid Vikings fan.

Jennie is survived by her parents, children Jacob Reisinger and Paige Kaufman, soulmate Henry Aniszewski and son Gavin. Also siblings Mark (Carol) Ackerman and Amy (David) Wisniewski, 3 nieces Allison Ackerman, Alexandra and Sarah Wisniewski, aunts Linda (James) Graeper and Sharon (Mark Helper) Mosher, and other family members.

Visitation is Friday Feb. 17 at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Road, Rockford, IL 61108. There will be a private burial in Princeton, IL.
