Jeffrey L. Schrieber

Jeffrey “Jeff” L. Schrieber, 63, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2018, in his home. He was born January 30, 1955, in Elgin the son of Oscar and Dolly (Penrod) Schrieber. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State College in Kentucky. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at the college. Jeff was an investment broker with Wells Fargo for many years. He was an avid fan of the Cubs, Bears, and the Murray State Racers.
Jeff leaves behind Sue Schrieber and their daughters, Danielle and Grace Schrieber; his brothers, David (Lory) Schrieber of FL, William (Mary) Schrieber of WI, Roger (Sheila) Schrieber of WI, and Julie (Dan) Stayton of KY; his mother-in-law, Myrt Adcock and his brother-in-law, Rick Adcock, both of Rockford; many nieces and nephews and special friends and his rescued cats, Zelda and Felix. Predeceased by his parents and his father-in-law, Dick Adcock.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, with Reverend Dan Herman officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
