Donald "Don" E. Wolf

Donald “Don” E. Wolf, 76, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2021. Born on March 1, 1945 son to Donald Wolf and Pauline (James) Carey. He went on to join the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1969. Later in October of 1970 he married the love of his life, Carol Kee in Rockford, IL, at Berean Baptist Church. In 1979 he graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College and went on to join the staff at Berean Baptist Christian School for 13 years. He was then called by his faith to work as a chaplain and case manager at the Rockford Rescue Mission for 21 years and then retired. He was a member of Lincolnwood Baptist Church. His faith truly facilitated him in his life, and he enjoyed using that faith to help others.

He will be missed by those who loved him most; his wife of 50 years, Carol; daughter in law Lorrie Wolf; his grandchildren Augustine, Katherine, Carl, Nora, Josephine and Peter; his siblings, Richard (Liz), Kenneth (Holly), Keith, and Susan (Bob) LeMay; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Aaron Wolf.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S.
