Daniel E. Collins

Daniel E. "Dan" Collins, 56, Monroe Center, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1954, in Rockford the son of Darrel E. and Virginia M. (Wiltfang) Collins. Dan married Terri Price in Oregon on June 4, 1984. He was a welder for Rockford Sanitary Systems.Survived by his wife, Terri; daughter, Jamie Flaningam of Loves Park; son, Bryan Collins of Monroe Center; grandchildren, Aiden Michael Collins, Evan Scott Collins and Riley Reynae Flaningam; his parents, Darrel and Virginia Collins; brother, Rich (Mary Jo) Collins of Rockford; sister, Kathleen (Allen) Held of Ariz.; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandpa, John Wiltfang and Harry and Gladys Stivers.Funeral service will be 6:30pm, Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Dean Parker officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Visitation from 5:00pm until time of service at the funeral home. To
