Catherine a?Kittya? (Clausen) Blais, 79, of Rockford passed away Thursday August 23, 2012. She was born August 22, 1933 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of John and Margaret Clausen. She married Henry a?Lewa? nbsp;Blais on August 30, 1952 in Rockford. She worked at Marchesano Drugs and for Rockford Auto Glass. Her Catholic faith and her family were central to her life. Member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for over 57 years where she was in the Choir, and was the Catholic Woman of the year. She loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She gave the best advice to her family and friends.

Survivors include children, Stephen, Mary (Jerry) Peterson, Teresa (Gary) Street and Robert; grandchildren, Sherri Rodgers, Christi (Chris) Sweeney, Stephen (Shannon) Blais Jr., Rachael (Patrick) Clausen, Todd (Susan) Peterson, Tracy (Jeff) Andrews, Jay (Kelli) Peterson, Michelle (Michael) Hill, Tony Street and Nicholas Blais; 17 greatgrandchildren and one greatgreat grandchild; sister, Elizabeth (Gerald) Weightman, brothers, Paul, Monsignor William, Robert (Rose) and Lawrence (Eugenia nbsp;Sisterinlaws, nbsp;Modelle Clausen and Jean Clausen. Preceded in death by husband Henry a?Lewa?, by parents; sonnbsp; Michael; grandson David Street; brothers, John and Carl and sisterinlaw Pauline. Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. Thurs.
