Buddy Femminella

Buddy “Bud” Femminella, 80, of Rockford, IL, passed away on November 15, 2021 at OSF St. Anthony’s Medical Center. He was born on July 2, 1941 in Rockford, IL to Anthony and Mary (Giangrosso) Femminella. Bud married the love of his life, Caroline Cameron on June 23, 1962. They shared 59 years of marriage.
Bud attended Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Rockford. He was a member of the Pigeon Club, St. Ambrosia Club, Blackhawk Club, and Plug and Pellet all in Rockford. Bud was an avid fisherman and enjoyed collecting movies, pigeons, remodeling homes and had a love for all animals.
Bud will be greatly missed by his wife, Caroline, son, Tony (Jane) Femminella of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Rachel Femminella, Lauren (Skyler) Davis, Sarah Vanags, sister, Anna (Les) Dent, and many nieces nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Femminella, sister, Nikki Boomgarden, and pets, Kodi, Bear, Brownie, Gretchen and Rocki.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL.
