Grandma, There aren't words to describe what a great woman you were and what you meant to our family. You brought us all together even when you didn't know it. You made us strong and helped us rely on each other. You helped us all see that family is the most important thing in this life. You taught me so many things. How to love with all your heart. How to whistle through your teeth. How to play war. You taught me my first song and your favorite, "You are my sunshine". I find myself singing this song to myself all the time and I know it's you putting that smile on my face. There are so many memories I have that are special to you. Spending the night at Grandma and Grandpa's was always an anventure. You always made it special. I remember when you would take me and Theresa to the movies in your big yellow car with the velvet seats. We would sit in the backseat that seemed gigantic and sing you songs that you would request. You always knew how to make even the smallest trip or event special. I know that you are looking down on us now and smiling and whistling. I'm glad I got that from you...I'll find myself whistling happily and not be aware of it until someone says something. You gave me that whistling happiness. You gave me so much in your life. You gave all of us so much and I hope we all make you proud. You will always be with us. I love you...You are my sunshine. xoxo Adrian Mera Heckinger
